Anyone else noticing anything? Hopefully its temporary as I have an assignment due tommorow with parts coming from a group collaboration through webmail and if webmail decides to go down again Im in trouble

I remember having this debate at work one day. Most of the older people said no, and most of the girls said no.

More money --> More time to do things you like as you arent wasting your time working a shitty job --> More time to be with those you like --> Overall, less stress

Id rather have a job I didn't like that paid a lot, than work a job I like but the pay is shit. Hmmm 16k a year compared to 40k+ a year.

I dont see any bad sides, if anyone knows of any post them

Well, in the process of choosing the classes for my last semester at SFU, I've been caught up in trying to figure out what I will be doing after I finish my B.Sc. I want to work for at least a semester and save some money, but other than that I actually want to continue my education in one way or the other. I have a minor in English, so I wouldn't mind continuing on with a Master's program or even a second bachelor's in English. OR I am pondering to switch completely over into the Business side of things by doing the GDBA program at the harbor center campus. Anyways, I thought I'd see what my good friends here at talkSFU are planning on doing after you grad to get some more ideas :smile:

Insomnia and Dreams

I love living near gastown and hearing all the noise until the bars have to close, for some reason at last call they feel the need to blast their music to full blast that I can hear like its playing in my apartment when I live on the 22nd floor.

Then before it woke me up it was actually incorporating into my dream, I was dreaming there were riots at 3am and people with uzzis on the corner of the streets shooting people and the noise in my dream was synonomous with that which I heard upon waking from the bars down below.

Its now 330 am I have to be up at 5 for work and I think Ive gotten 2 hours sleep :confused: :beer:

Physics question about time dialation

Hi I was wondering about how fast do you have to go before time dialation comes into effect...my friend is in physics and he was mentioning something about it yesterday during some drunken babble. I wanna see if he actually knew what he was talking about

In the summer when I was taking a semester off I went about 6-7 days a week, not to get bulky but to just tone and be in good health.

Now that I'm in school, trying to study, go to school, work, and maintain a social life it seems hard to fit that hour or so in, and now I only go like 2-4 times a week.

I don't want to end up one of those people who die of heart disease or who end up unable to walk and need assistance all the time when they are elderly

Ok, so I try to take sa 357 and it says requisites not completed
yet I have completed them
I emailed karen, she didn't help.
I asked the livehelp, they said ask Karen.

I am SA minor, at 11 credits, this would put me to 15, so i'm not overloaded or anything...

I've taken distance for a while but i need to go to campus 3 times a week next semester ><
I usually drive to SFU but gas is killing me so.....
Say I park my car in whalley and catch gateway sky train..
how long does it take you to get to sfu from there.
if most of you take it from central, then tell me from there

I know you can look it up on transit site, but it always takes me longer than what that site says so I'd like some personal experience responses.
