The reason why I joined is because it's hard to meet people in SFU, everyone just go to class and leave right after. So yeah, that's about it. Nice to meet y'all.

I'm a total geek and not afraid of it, and I love video games (but don't let them control my life...learned that the hard way...damn you WoW!).

This place seems pretty sweet, hope to make some new friends! It can be pretty difficult to meet people at SFU, but this site should make that easier :).

See ya 'round the interweb tubes

There is one spot that just opened for Friday morning at 9:30AM but I can't figure out how to swap. I tried swapping the entire poli sci class but it wanted to wait list me but i'm already enrolled, so that's dumb.

I could try and do weds at 8:30 but it would be cutting it very close because of transportation.

Anyway, can someone explain to me step by step how to swap tutorials?? Thank you so much.

edit: and dropping and re-enrolling is not an option. I almost lost a class doing that. LOL.

I was diagnosed with a terminal illness a while back but during that time I was in a denial phase and I didn't really want to face the problem although I did suffer from depression which had a major effect on my schooling. I even broke down in class once due to all the pressure and I think it put all my classmates in an extremely awkward position even though they acted really nice towards me. For the past couple of days, I have been getting weaker. I went to see my doctor today for a check up and she suggested that I see a counselor as no one else know's about my problem. Right now, it feels like I have been ripped off as I spent most of my life going to school and working part-time. I'm basically thinking of activities that I can still do before my body gets too weak to even do normal things. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I wanna take advantage of things while I'm still around.

I got really lucky this semester..I got into every class I wanted, without being any stupid waiting list. This is my 2nd semester at SFU..aren't poli sci classes not very popular? They're all 200 level poli sci classes, I was allowed to register on nov.22 and my gpa last summer (i only took one class) was 2.6

I mean if the guy is 30 years old dating a 25 years old, that is still viewed normal. But 6-7 is starting to stretch it. 8 years difference makes it look like the guy is already 10 years her senior.
