Transferring into Business from Arts & Appealing Process - Question
Hey all, hopefully some people can provide me with a little insight on my situation here (I'm sure many people are in the same boat also).
My Studying Background/Story :
I'm currently a 3rd year Student (credits-wise) as I was looking to get into Education after studying at SFU in Arts for a bit. Long-story short, Education wasn't for me so I am getting my Lower Division Core Business classes done so I can apply into Business where I feel I truly belong.
The problem with me is that my GPA right now is at around a 2.67 (only balancing on about 6 courses or so), and I have 3 more courses to go. This semester I will finish up 1 of them (Macro Econ; Econ105) along with 2 other courses for boosting my cGPA. My plan will be to finish my last 2 classes (Math 157, and Buec232) in the Fall, while also retaking Bus251; Financial Accounting.
3 kind of tough classes, however luckily I understood accounting well in the end but couldnt climb out of the hole the midterm got me into.
Main Question:
Okkkk, so anyways, about getting into Business. I know right now that the GPa Requirement is 3.17 to transfer in, and I can honestly see myself being around the 3.0 range, but not much higher (being realistic instead of overly optimistic).
I don't know if I will be declined or not (probably), so I was thinking about how I can have a bit of an advantage into getting in. I want to study International Business, and to show my dedication to it, I will be working this Summer in Asia for the Summer semester. I hope that this alongside with my personal motivations will be enough on an appeal letter to show that I might not have a really high GPA, but I truly do have the interest and dedication to getting in and studying business.
Thanks for any help/insight people can give me!

Would those things help on a supplementary Application (Appeal Package/Letter)? How about letters of Reccomendation from Profs or TA's in Business?
Thanks a bunch!
