So anyone up to anything, enjoying the awesome heat...the beaches are bumpin right now. So far Kits and White Pine have been my favorite spots to hit but what's everyone else up to ?

    That sucks! I'm taking a couple of english classes right now so luckily I can relax and do my reading at the beach too. I'm sure you have a couple of days to enjoy the sun before its gone :)

    I was in Tofino all weekend and it was HOT there! Great to just lie in the sun and watch the surfers. :teeth:

    oh.. i'm jealous of you all..=( i haven't got the chance to even get close to a beach... originally i planned to go tan and study today but the office called and said they need me.. so out went the tanning session.. T_T siGh...i look so pale that it's not even funny.. ><"

    I'm working and pretty pissed off about it. But I have to be able to afford school in the fall. Thank god i am going on vacation at the end of summer. Yippee! But still, i want to be outside so bad right now. :(

    So,How did you sleep last night? Sweating with no sheets.
    Pretty rare thing in Vancouver. Lots of tired folks today.

    I did manage to get a few hours of sleep.

    @ 中国男人: hmm.. doesn't that song talk abt gold diggers? in that case.. i don't think any of the ladies here are talking money in that aspect... =)

    @triple: poor you!! it must be excruciating to be wearing a cast under this hot weather!! @_@ get well soon... and don't worry you still have august to party with.. =D

    Siuying, I don't understand how you could perceive that that song talks about gold diggers. To quote that phrase, "大家才都说有钱真好" translates to "All of everyone says that money is genuinely good". Sure, the songs is a copy of "Madonna's - Material Girl" but the lyrics are of a different content.

    well... the parts about brand names being important.. busting your credit card.. being the center of attention and emphasis on looks kinda painted that picture for me.. i could be wrong but personally the song seemed to be leaning in the materialistic side..
