UBC Student returning to SFU

Hello, I am a former SFU student who left to go to UBC. I took electrical engineering at UBC and have recently been asked to leave due to poor grades (not failing, but below the minimum of 60%). Does anyone know if it is possible to return and enroll in classes at SFU even after a 3 year absence?

    It's almost always possible to return and enroll in courses at BC universities (the more time off the better), though there is some variation between programs.

    Ask the councilors. If the answer is "no", start at a CC and transfer back to uni.

    You have to see if you can reinstate your student status with student services. I took 5 semesters off from sfu, and when I tried to login to my connect.sfu email it wouldn't let me. I had to submit a little application to reinstatement my status and luckily they did. Not sure if 3 years will fly though...
