laptop or tablet?

What is better for a science student, the asus transformer pad 300 or a regular laptop??

    if your going to get a tablet, id definitely go for an ipad. it's the best quality tablet out there, and you can get a pretty cool bluetooth keyboard attachment to go with it.

    if not, i'd go for a regular laptop so that you can type essays and stuff on it when you need to

    The reason id consider the transformer is it docks with a keyboard to turn it into a small laptop but is a laptop better?
