Repeated courses--NEED HELP NOW!
Ok. I sent my student loan application around early December and it is approved. Today at 3pm, I received an email from SFU that they cannot confirm my enrollment for Spring 2013 term because I'm repeating courses. "In accordance with StudentAid BC policy, if you are repeating a course solely to improve the grade, you cannot include this course as part of your minimum full-time course load requirement to receive your BC student loan funding."
I'm a second year business student and I enrolled into 3 courses: bus 237, econ 103, and econ 105. I received a D in both econ courses last year (so so sad...don't laugh at me. I was a slacker). I need to take at least 9 credit courses, in additional to the course(s) I'm repeating, in order to receive my funding.
I'm repeating the two courses because they're required courses, and I need at least a C- for both courses in order to enroll in Bus 207 which is also a required course for business students.
I'm really frustrated because SFU decides to send me an email today (even though studentaid approved my application) when the financial advisors aren't available and school is starting next week, and they can't consider the fact that the courses I'm repeating are required courses for business students. Now I have to send an appeal form, along with a letter explaining why I need to repeat the courses, another letter from SFU verifying that I need to take the courses for the program, and a copy of my transcripts. Furthermore, my mom is expecting to have everything sent by tomorrow.
I want to know if anyone has ever experienced this. I want to know what I can do in order to get my funds right away before the tuition deadline.
Please and thank you!

Has anyone had any experience with this? and how much is the unit value decreased?
