BUS237 & 251

Hi guys! what do u think about bus 237 with Peter Tingling and bus 251 with Elizabeth Macdonald? do u think it is a good idea to take these two courses in one semester? and how hard the exams? one more thing are there written assingnments?? PLZ HELP

  • I didn't take 251 with Anne, but the course is standardized among all teachers and either way its very demanding if you don't have a knack for accounting/quantitative analysis. Avg on MT is usually around 60-65%.

    That being said you shouldn't be worried about doing 251 + 237 (which is a relatively easy course, just lots of little quizzes and assignments). You should be able to handle that course load + 2 other courses otherwise you might find it hard in upper divs.

  • I took both of them with the professors you mentioned.

    Peter Tingling is a very inspiring professor.He cares about students' academic career and future life beyond this course.You'll find him very helpful.The course materials are not hard,just to memorize lots of stuff.

    McDonald is a great professor, too.Her enunciation is great hence makes the course materials easy to understand.

    conclusion: they are recommended!
