  • From someone on facebook:

"YES. TAKE IT. It was my favourite class by far"
"(although it's mostly remedial material and if you ever did any astronomy reading you'll know everything)
"The guy who teaches it is really passionate about the material and covers it in a really accessible way while still being able to engage with the more scientifically literate students in his class."
  • Was actually planning taking it, but then I noticed this thing has 3 hours lecture, 1 hour tutorial + 1.5 hours lab.

I heard its interesting, and I do look forward regarding astronomy and the universe, but man, 5.5 hours for 3 credits.

Anyone know the workload? Would the 1.5 hrs lab be enough for any kind of home work, labs and assignments
  • go for the 1st lecture and see what's up?
  • 5.5 hours for 3 credits WTF? I thought credits= hours basically?

@MXC Where on facebook did you see this? Random post or a like page?

But ya to decide if I wanted to swap into another course once I checked out the first lecture, realized it was boring as shit and remained my other class. It was a good choice.
  • @BeAnBeAn it was on a club page and someone just asked about the course so someone answered
