Where can I go to find a bank of course midterms?

edited June 2014 in General
I don't know how, but for every class I join at SFU there's always people who manage to get their hands on an online copy of the course's previous midterm. I tried using google, but no results. Anyone know where I can go to access these "COUGH" exams because these exams aren't even available on coursecentral...This is for review purposes of course.

  • A lot of people find them through connections with people who have previously taken the course. The math department has a formal exam bank somewhere but I don't know of any other that exists. Also if you know which courses you're taking in future semesters, take a look at the course websites now and you can usually find that the teacher has posted the solutions to their midterm. That's what I usually do.
  • Library FAQ "Does the Library have old exams on file?" at:

    http://www.lib.sfu.ca/faqs/does-the-library-have-old-exams-on-file

has some suggestions including prof's pages. Don't bother with the ones under "Exam Bank"; they're out of date.
