CHEM 215 with Hogan Yu.

So I have CHEM 215 with Hogan (Hua-Zhong) Yu this semester and me (plus my friends) have no idea how to study for his midterm and final. He has way too many complicated formulas in his slides but also tells us even he doesn't remember many of them...

Has anybody taken this course with him? Any tip will be appreciated

    Hey MShuffle,

    I took that class with Dr. Li, and we had a massive formula sheet at the midterms (which were pretty easy...). Do you have access to any practice midterms with Dr. Yu?

    I remember taking chem 122 with Dr. Yu, and I'm seriously glad I took 215 with Li...

    Nope, hasn't given us anything yet and it is in 2 weeks
    Was your exam all problem solving?

    The first midterm was all multiple choice. I found it pretty easy. I'd say maybe half about concepts, half basic number-crunching using the formulas...

     The second one was mostly multiple choice with a few problems (our prof was away at the time, so we had the review session with Dr. Sharma, who basically showed us what was going to be on the midterm lol!).
