on the psych website, it says that the activities are

-Volunteer for participation in research projects in the Department of Psychology.

-Volunteer for participation in research projects, but have your results excluded from the study.

-Request that researchers walk you through their research projects.

-Write one or more 2-page summaries of research articles.

can anyone explain in detail about the third activity? I don't understand at all what it means..

And can you tell me which activity is relatively easy?

The third activity requires you to reach out to a psych prof currently performing research and to inquire about what their research entails. You will need to get enough information from them to be able to write a well-written but concise summary of facts. This would include things like the type of research, what the study is examining, participant types/numbers, hypothesis, etc. 

Relatively easy activity - PARTICIPATION: This could not be more easy. All that is required of you is that you either A) find online research participation and fill out surveys that will take anywhere from 30 minutes - 2 hours. Nonetheless, its basically just filling in bubble sheets online. B) Attend in person research. When you are looking for current research to participate in I would suggest doing this as early as possible because the longer you wait the less there will be to choose from. As well, when you read the descriptions you should notice a wide variety of studies and what will be required of you. Try to find studies that actually interest you that you wouldn't mind being a participant in. At the end of your participation for each research study you will have a chance to exclude your results if for any reason you are uncomfortable sharing this.
