Can anyone tell me what seminar courses involve or how they differ from normal courses?

I picked up ENG 199w and it's a seminar course. It's not showing up on my course schedule which makes me think this is some kind of distance class? Not sure anyway.

Please help :)

    Less people like max. 30, kind of like a larger tutorial setting but 3 hours in length with the prof as your TA basically.

    You also need a specific GPA to be in a seminar course, check with your specific department (google it).

    And I did google it. I didnt find any specific information.
