are scientific calculators allowed during an exam

    In general for Chemistry courses non-graphing/non-programmable calculators are acceptable. Technically you're *required* to buy the "Aurex" calculator but in practice... eh, we only enforce it if if's obvious a student is using a very fancy calculator.

    Yeah. I personally favor the TI-30X. :) 10 digits, 3 memories, easy to use.
