Purchasing G Lot Passes

edited September 2010 in General
Hi, so I am currently in the market for a Fall parking permit and I was curious as how the procedure is done when a student buys a pass from another student. Do we just give them money and they give us the valid permit, or do we give them money then get the permit then they register our car onto that permit through the SFU parking mini site?

If anyone has first hand experience, safety anti scam tips, general tips, or insight into this type of situation please indulge because there are probably alot of people who did not get the right to purchase because they did not win the lottery.

    1) Don't bother with G lot, it's so packed it's basically sold beyond their capacity.

    2) In addition to the previous point, B lot is only $100 more but the lot is never full like G lot and it's halving the distance you have to walk

    3) Meet up with seller, walk into sfu parking and add the vehicle onto their account, pay them outside afterwards.
