swapping courses

can somebody enlighten me on swapping courses.

-im in a burnaby class and it is full now

-i want the same class but in surrey instead.

-surrey one is reserved until 29th

-need to drop the burnaby one in order to enroll into surrey one

-don't want to risk losing the burnaby one when trying to get into surrey when it opens

-would swap save me here?  in other words, if i use the swap option on the burnaby class with surrey one when reserves are lifted - but maybe im not fast enough and all the surrey spots fill up instantly, would it keep me in the burnaby class?
