Course Requisite Failed..
Ok, so I took macm 101 spring 2013 and I got a D. I also did math 150 and got a B. I registered for math 232 for the summer and I got the following email today.
I got this email today:
Our Records show that you have registered in MATH 232 for 2013 Summer and that during 2013 Spring you were taking MACM 101 and achieved a grade of D. This grade may make you ineligible to take MATH 232. Be sure to check the pre-requisites for MATH 232 and drop this course if you do not qualify.
If a subsequent audit shows that you do not meet the pre-requisites you may be dropped by the Department offering the course without further notice from the class with no refund of tuition. A course drop penalty fee may also be applied. As per SFU policy it is the student's responsibility to ensure that all course pre-requisites, program approval, and graduation requirements have been met.
Please direct all inquiries to your department.

Sorry for it to be so long but it was in fact a pretty big email. Anyway, what does this even mean? The prereqisuits were math 150 or macm 101 or math 151. I don't understand why i got this email when I diddnt even have to take macm 101 to take this course... Can someone explain to me what this email means?

It's just saying the mathematics department might drop you from the course if they see that you don't have the pre-reqs, but since you do (from MATH 150) it probably won't happen.
