Anyone done an annotated bibliography?

edited December 2007 in General
I need to do one for an english essay I'm working on, any general guidelines to follow? How long do the descriptions of my sources have to be?

Refworks? Is it something like http://citationmachine.net/ because that's what I used. And then I had to write a few sentences for each source about why I used it and how it relates to my essay topic. I think I'll be fine but at least now I can focus fully on exams.

well in my opinion this refworks made it so much easier.

basically you download it for free, access for free from courtesy of sfu.

then it'll have an interface, you can select what type of biblio : APA? MLA?

then it gives you all the fields it needs you to fill in for that type of biblio.

    then save it.

get a whole list of these references, click bibliography, and it'll do ALL the formatting for you.

do half an hour to learn it from the tutorials and it definitely paid off.
