Forum dead until school starts?

edited January 2008 in General
Did the forum kind of die or is it because we all have other things we can do now?

I kinda forget this site exists during break, I just spent 5 hours trying to download, tag, and organize songs for my replacement IPod, I think my break is coming to a close as Ive finished all the loose ends I had laying around for the past three months

Of course, we have going to have much more topics, such as how the Admin forgot one or two transfer credits, not being able to get into a course even though the professor said yes, and much more to discuss once school starts.

It's too bad, but this forum has been dead for a long time. Kinda sad because there's actually some decent people on here.

Dead!? This forum is where I can discuss the problems I enounter up there in that pile of concrete without worrying about anything. We seriously need to advertise this forum, perhaps through facebook, the peak, or poster (hey, if the anti and pro abortion hordes can kill a whole forest just to impose their ideas on us, we too have a right to advertise this site.)

I am thinking of taglines such as...

1.) Why wait for 30 minutes for bullshits when good, personal advices are clicks away.
2.) The admin won't listen anyway, you may as well tell us.
3.) Better discussions here than you four hours seminar

^Yes yes, we've discussed that already in another sub-forum somewhere on here.

This forum is dead most of the time. It'll pick up a little more once school starts and people need to be on the computer to write papers and what not.

It would be nice if it was more lively tho....god knows ive tried to make it a little more, as have other people. Just keep making new topics and it'll keep it lively somewhat.

Can't we get a booth on Club Day or something and use it to advertise. I mean, we can pull some crazy shit such as asking both an academic advisor and TalkSFU the same questions and publicize both answers to shows how good our advices are compared to the pricks. Look, if the Zombie Millitia is a legitimate club, then so is an internet forum.
