Palin Email Account Hacker was a Student!

David C. Kernell–an economics major at the University of Tennessee and the son of Tennessee state legislator Mike Kernell–was indicted by a federal grand jury for “gaining unlawful access to stored communications and obtaining information from a protected computer via interstate communication."

    I wouldn't really call it "hacking". From what I hear, he just guessed the answer to Palin's password-reset secret question.

    Just checked the news, David Kernell, the hacker, now faces up to 5 years in jail for hacking into Sarah Palin's Yahoo Mail account. Personally, I would say that he kind of deserves this. Who in their right mind would hack into the mail account of a VP nominee?

    Anyone want to bet that there will be "Free Kernell" T-Shirt springing up soon?
