    i use thunderbird

but u are probably referring to downloading the folders saved on ur webmail acct on sfu

ive never used outlook, so im not sure if u can use that function from it to auto download the saved folders, maybe try googling it? im sure there is a way

or u can manually download the whole folder from webmail.sfu.ca, there is a link for 'folder' and in there u can download the whole inbox

Cheers for the how-to, guys! Now I don't have to log on to my.sfu to check my darn email there.

PLUS as soon as I synced it with my Thunderbird, I got an email saying my tutorial was canceled today... which I probably wouldn't have known otherwise.

when i follow the set up..

it works..but what i want now..

is whenever i delete an email from outlook...how do i get outlook to delete the email from the sfu email server?

atm whenever i delete an email from outlook, the email is still on sfu webmail and what im scared of is that if i dont check my webmail, it will be too full on the sfu server but my outlook wont be able to tell me that .

Set it so when Outlook dumps the recycle bin it will do the same thing to the sfu mail server:

Go into Email accounts, choose your sfu account, more settings, advanced tab, check 'Remove from server when deleted from recycle bin'

    i tried that..but it didn't work...

it's been 4 days and it still hasn't deleted?

do i have to wait for a whole week even if i set it to remove from server every 1 day?
