bufli, i didn't say that was the ONLY reason. it was just a theory.

zomg you guys, it's so hard to say one thing cuz then i'd have follow it with a paragraph of surrounding things and a paragraph each for that....

Funny how so many people like to follow the gender presets--no wonder there are a lot of singles on here.

I'm currently dating a guy who's still getting out of debt, and isn't much of a looker. He owns two cars, that's about all that's going for him.

There are tons of people out there dating for the company and stimulating conversation instead of money, looks, and social standing. What good is money and looks when you're sitting across a table for two from the guy in absolute awkward silence?
duh, he can buy you shiny things?

actually... i feel for the guys too.. girls these days can be quite materialistic.. and in most instances.. if a guy doesn't have a car.. isn't good looking.. doesn't have disposable income... you're pretty much out of luck.. and this isn't an exhaustive list by all means as other requirements could be tagged on depending on the girl..
    I ain't got no money
I ain't got no car to take you on a date
I can't even buy you flowers
But together we can be the perfect soul mates
    Talk to me girl

    LOL

i'm a very very VERY materialistic girl.. you fail on all three requirements.. well 2 to be exact (since i'm not a flowery type of girl)... bottom line.. no money no talk! let alone soul mates.. you've been mia for far too long..
now i personally think this song is more fitting...;)

    Ooooooo
I've been travelin on this road too long
Just trying to find my way back home
The old me is dead and gone

    I'm revieving this thread. :P

For the girls with the guy problems, what is your ultimate goal? In all honesty, guys like a chase. If you simply go up to a guy and tell him you like him, he's not going to be interested. Or he may be at first but the interest is going to eventually die down and he will move on to the next girl. If the problem is meeting guys, honestly, at university, there are many opportunities.

You need to wait....good things just take some time to come around....... Enjoy being single, and not having to deal with all the complications that come with a bf lol
Have fun, work hard, treat yourself and live life, and you never know...maybe while your doing that someone will cross paths with you.

come on...I would hardly believe that. let us face it, people here drink, party wildly and you know what happens after while...so sex is like basic need with nothing attached to it.

don't you think without relationship, life would suck...or are you advocating for guys to turn to 'gayism' and ignore the beauty of having wonderful person in your side and have children with him?

your hormones are doing just fine? how..lol?
  • edited March 2010
hope.. maybe you should look up something called platonic love.. sex is important but not a basic need...=)

I didnt say you shuldnt be in a relationship, I was also not advocating gayism.
Im just saying its not a big deal for sumone not to be in a relationship....you dont need to beat urself up and beleive there is smthn wrong with you.........
hahaha rite SOME...thats rite SOME people drink and party wildy....which eventually leads to sex....why u painting evryone wid the same brush yo??? not cool lol...and your idea of beauty which is having a wonderful person by ur side and having children doesnt define evryone.
I mean its great u believe that.....but personally it doesnt define me!!

    About my hormones....i dunno....lol

you never know, to some people, it is a basic need. May be you never had the time to experience the pleasures of sex lol.

Platonic love doesn't work for me. There has to be some physical interaction...I'm physical guy...lol

perhaps it'll change as you grow older lol
